Donsome Records releases Black Tears rhythm
 
He made his name in music circles producing quality roots reggae songs. Now ten years after the release of his last roots reggae project Crime Stop rhythm, producer Adrian ‘Donsome’ Hanson is back on the beat.
 
His latest project titled Black Tears rhythm is set for release today Friday  November 6.  The project features the likes of Marcia Griffiths, Anthony B, Lutan Fyah, Glen Washington, Chezidek and Bugle among others. 
 
In a media release, he explained why he felt it necessary at this time to release a project of this nature.
 
“I think the time is right for a roots rhythm where you can hear the real pain in the voices of the artistes. The songs bring messages of hope and based on what Black people are experiencing today, the Black Tears rhythm fits right in,” Hanson explained.
 
Reggae queen Marcia Griffiths sing the title track in which she tackles the pain that Black people are facing globally; this positive message should resonate with music lovers.
 
Anthony B who’s one of reggae most prolific roots singer, address the danger that we face in the world today with track So Dangerous, Bugle makes a strong case for survival on the track Allow Me to Live, while Donsome newly signed artiste Korexx show his versatility with his debut roots reggae track. 
 
Other tracks include Crying (Justice) by Tommy B; Holding on to a Feeling by Glen Washington; Bad Seed by Chezidek; So Dangerous by Anthony B; Yuh Ungrateful by Lutan Fyah; and Fry Bone by Perfect Giddimani.
 
Songs including Mama Bawl by Gyptian, Lost Our Way by I-Octane, Famine and Drought by I-Wayne and compilations including Reggae Grass Roots, Reggae in My Heart and Roots Drop riddim, are among the projects, which Hanson is known for.
